Our guests are five women with a wealth of experience of the film and television industries: composer Debbie Wiseman, Python muse Carol Cleveland, actress Sylvia Syms, "the British Monroe" Vera Day and Carry On's Barbara Windsor. This is a collaboration with the Cinema and Television History (CATH) Research Centre at De Montfort University.

Our 1929 silent horror tale tomorrow (Thursday 22 September) features hypnotism, clutching hands and a haunted house, complete with a secret panel for concealing corpses and a pit of snakes.
