Some new kind of kick – celluloid rock n roll trash on a Friday night.

Set and filmed at New Cross Speedway, this features great performances and riding at a time when queues would be going some distance up the Old Kent Road three times a week. Dirk Bogarde is an aspiring and then successful bike rider, who sees behind the glamour of the speedway race.
