To celebrate the amazing Cinema Museum, join us as we invite a new audience to discover with us the wonders of this living, breathing Museum!
Tonight is a night of live music performed by world-class musicians: Martynas Levickis (World Champion accordionist), Joseph Tawadros (Oud virtuoso), Blanche Dubois (The Lipsinkers), Don Kipper (multi-award winning sextet) and Siubhan Harrison (West End Lead Singer) and Baxter Lehanneur (DJ).
Martynas Levickis, World Champion Accordionist, will take us on a journey from Argentine tango through his native Lithuania to Yann Tiersen’s Amelie. |
Joseph Tawadros is a leading Oud virtuoso, composer and 4 time ARIA award winner. Joseph will bring to the evening the notes and scales of the Arabic world. |
Blanche DuBois – The LipSinkers will take us back to the golden age of Hollywood – and show us what a real leading lady is all about! |
Multi award-winning sextet Don Kipper will bring the rhythm, drawing on both ancient traditions and the modern, migrant cultures of the city we call home. They love traditional music but they’re not traditionalists. |
Siubhan Harrison, star of the West End, will make our hearts sing with musical numbers from the Silver Screen. Career highlights include leads in shows such as Guys and Dolls, From Here to Eternity, Me and My Girl, Home I’m Darling, Les Miserables. Siubhan will be accompanied by accomplished pianist Vadim Vystavkin. |
And to add touches of Bollywood and Nollywood, DJ Baxter Lehanneur will be spinning tunes for your delectation. |
Doors open at 19.30, for a 20.00 start.
Refreshments will be available in our licensed cafe/bar.
