Love Before Breakfast is a 1936 romantic comedy starring Carole Lombard, Preston Foster, and Cesar Romero.
It was based on a short story by Faith Baldwin, a popular writer of women’s fiction at the time. It was directed by Walter Lang, from a script by Herbert Fields backed up by numerous uncredited contract writers, including Preston Sturges.
Preston Foster plays a rich businessman who chases after a New York beauty (Lombard), engineering the transfer of her fiancé (Romero) to Japan.
