We are very pleased to be hosting Glenda Jackson at The Cinema Museum, where she will be interviewed by Brian Sibley. We will be concentrating on her film and television work, illustrated with clips.
Glenda Jackson came to film prominence playing Gudrun Brangwen in Ken Russell’s Women in Love (1969), for which she won her first Oscar – the other was for A Touch of Class (1973). Other award-winning films include Mary, Queen of Scots (1971), Sunday Bloody Sunday (1971) and Stevie (1978). Her TV work includes Elizabeth R (1971) and The Patricia Neal Story (1981), as well as her much-loved appearances with Morecambe and Wise.
Doors open at 13.30, for a 14.30 start.
Refreshments will be available in our licensed cafe/bar.
