After the great success of the first events of this fascinating season, the Oscar-winning film historian introduces a third instalment of rare films from his collection.
“Mr Brownlow is a giant among film historians and preservationists, known and justifiably respected throughout the world for his multiple achievements, [including] as the author of The Parade’s Gone By, a definitive history of the silent era…” Martin Scorsese
These screening events are a unique chance to see some exceptional titles, with Kevin Brownlow telling the background to their production.
The accompaniment will be provided by leading silent film musician Stephen Horne, who delights audiences with piano interpretations that also feature elements such as flute, accordion and percussion.
Doors open at 18.30 for a 19.30 start. Refreshments will be available in our licenced cafe/bar.
