UsThe Cinema Museum is the venue for the world premier of the film of the Underground Renaissance album from Us, Finland’s foremost psychedelic modernists. The band will also play an unplugged set.

Us logoUs is a five-piece R’n’B punk band originally from Finland. In 2024 the band played nine shows at Glastonbury festival in the UK and six shows at Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. During the same year Us also released their debut album Underground Renaissance. The album has received praise from such magazines as Rolling Stone Japan, Mojo Magazine, Shindig! and Classic Rock Magazine. The songs have also enjoyed numerous plays on BBC 6 radio.

In live reviews Us has been compared to early Arctic Monkeys and The Hives with Mojo Magazine describing their “blistering 3 AM show” at Glastonbury as “Dr. Feelgood-style punk-blues with the vigour of peak Ramones”. In 2024 alone, Us have performed at Eurosonic and Bigpop festival (the Netherlands), Glastonbury (UK), Fuji Rock (Japan), Sziget Festival (Hungary), and Transmusicales (France), as well as headline a run of UK dates.

The band shot a full film version of their Underground Renaissance album on Super 8 film during their hectic tours between 2022 and 2023. Some of the videos have been released on their own in YouTube but now they are finally compiled into one 30 minute piece.
