Joshua Trigg’s award-winning drama, shot in Laos in just 26 days during the Covid pandemic, is a classic road movie following a young boy who teams up with a photojournalist to look for his lost mother.
When a bomb endangers the Pha Tang temple, ‘Satu’ an orphan child laborer decides to head north through the rich and feral landscape of Laos in search of his long lost mother with his new photojournalist friend ‘Bo’.
Writer-director Joshua Trigg will introduce the film and join in a post-screening Q&A.
