The Misty Moon International Film Festival is back again this Halloween, for another year of fantastic indie films and will be held on Saturday the 21st October 2023 at London’s prestigious and multi award winning Cinema Museum.
Over the years we have had many guest judges attending the Finals of The Misty Moon International Film Festival including US Horror Legends Lynn Lowry, Debra Lamb, Adrienne King, Diane Franklin, Sandy Johnson, Danielle Harris and the best of British TV and Cinema including Dominic Brunt, Brian Murphy, Perry Benson, Nicholas Ball, Linda Haydn, Judy Matheson, Linzi Drew,Ben Dover, Ben Peyton, David Barry, Suzanne Maddock, Felicity Dean, Dawn Perllman, Emma Dark, Trevor and Simon among many others and this year we have even more fabulous guest judges from the industry.
All the Finalists will be invited to attend the gala final at The Cinema Museum where they will see their films screened on the big screen and have a chance to meet the guest judges during the evening. We are looking for short films of all genres to be submitted, but as it is near Halloween and our judges are made up of actors and industry professionals from well know horror films we would appreciate a smattering of short horrors as well.

- Lisi Tribble Russell – Actress/Director (The Fall of the Louse of Usher)
- Faith Elizabeth – Actress/Director (My Baby Cries, Dragonflies Only Live for 24 Hours)
- Aaron Truss – Director/ Producer (Cult Of VHS, (K)Nox: The Rob Knox Story, Pareidolia)

There will be six awards, The Misty Mooners Award, The Judges’s Award, The Fenella Fielding OBE Award, The Dudley Sutton Award, The Ronnie Clark Award and The Geoffrey Morriss Award. Each of the winners will receive an engraved trophy.

Refreshments will be available in our licensed cafe/bar.
