Four silent filmmakers have each been paired with a sound-artist. Each sound-artist has written a soundscape specifically for their assigned film, and will be performing it live as the film is screened.

This event aims to keep alive the tradition of the silent film era from 1890s-1920s where films were shown accompanied with live music. The event intends to foster an exercise of letting go of full creative control, showing how collaboration between creative fields can generate unexpected and exciting ideas.

Doors open at 15.45 for a 16.00 start. Event ends at 18.00.
