Following July’s event, Robert Ross presents another full day of chat, clips, special guests, and laughter in celebration of the beloved Carry On series.
Officially authorised by Carry On Films Limited, they’ll be outrageous trailers, rare clips, and special guests who will share hilarious memories from making these comedy classics.
A Funny Way to Make a Living
In this exclusive version of the touring chat show, Gemma Ross will be putting a Carry On twist on the conversation, coaxing memories from Robert of his unforgettable times with everybody from Bob Monkhouse to Rik Mayall.
They’ll be plenty of behind-the-scenes photos from the Comedy Cottage archives, as well as a spontaneous question and answer session. So have your questions ready!
Our very special guests for the day are Jacki Piper and Richard O’Callaghan, the star-crossed lovers from Carry On Loving (1970) and Carry On At Your Convenience (1971), reunited to share there memories of filming these 1970s favourites.
We’ll also be joined by Hugh Futcher, who featured in Carry On At Your Convenience, as well as six other films in the series, who will discuss his long career from Roman Polanski to Hammer Horror.
We are also thrilled to welcome back our dear friend Madeline Smith, a valued member of the family as Mrs. Pullitt in Carry On Matron (1972), and a beloved icon of British stage and screen.
Throughout the day there will be ample opportunity to purchase signed photographs and mingle with our Carry On celebrities. And, of course, they’ll be a surprise or two. The fun is guaranteed. So Carry On, you know it makes sense. Again!
Doors open at 11.00, for a 12.00 start. Event ends at 18.00.
Refreshments will be available in our licensed cafe/bar.
