Please Sir! was set in the fictional Fenn Street School and ran for 55 episodes between 1968 and 1972. A film version was released in 1971.
David Barry played ‘mummy’s little soldier’, Frankie Abbott, and Peter Cleall played Eric Duffy. They will be joined on stage by Misty Moon MC, Chris Collins, who will be taking the register and keeping the lads in order during a Q&A.
David is now an accomplished author and has written a new play entitled A Day In The Lives Of Frankie Abbott, which catches up with Frankie in the present day. David will be reprising his role as Frankie and the play will be touring early next year.
David and Peter will be taking part in a paid signing after the Q&A.
