The UK Buster Keaton Society. Quarterly meeting of the society dedicated to the appreciation of the silent comedian.
The main presentation will be Steamboat Bill Jr (1928). This was the last film that Keaton made with his own production team and gag writers. Buster plays the son of a paddle steamer captain, who is in love with the daughter of his father’s business rival. It contains the legendary collapsing house stunt.
The meeting runs from 4pm to 7pm.
