A film noir double bill.

Don Siegel directed noir comedy The Big Steal (71min), with Robert Mitchum as a wrongly accused man on the run, with co-star Jane Greer. “Sparkling dialogues, fast-paced chases.” (Channel 4 films)

Jules Dassin directed the British film Night and the City (101min), starring Richard Widmark as an American hustler in post-war London, with Gene Tierney and Googie Withers.

Doors open at 13.30 for a 14.30 start.

The event is expected to finish by 17.45.
