Often overlooked but a lot of fun, Star Trek III was another huge hit. Following on directly from its predecessor, the central role in this film is taken by Bones, thus suggesting our choice of supporting feature in our double bill this afternoon.

So for this we have DeForest Kelley in his feature film debut Fear in the Night (1947), a film noir which saw the actor poised for leading man stardom. In the event Kelley’s career wasn’t that straightforward, and neither is this film which offers an atmospheric development of a dream-like plot.
