This in-depth exploration of Hollywood cinema is the first of several courses from Morley College to be held at the Cinema Museum over the coming academic year. Taught by tutor Jon Wisbey, the course will examine Hollywood films in the period between 1930 and 1965.
Looking at a range of classic films, students will be invited to consider their style, themes, reception and place in Hollywood’s history, while discussing the producers, directors and stars that brought the ‘silver screen’ to life.
The Cinema Museum is delighted to be hosting this exciting new educational resource. The course will comprise a weekly 2-hour session at the museum, and will run for twelve weeks in total.
