Audiard’s exquisitely elegant thriller is notable for its fresh, exploratory approach to genre. On one level, it’s another bracing French film about the workplace, but filtered through Hitchcockian stylistic and thematic tropes. Time Out

As with all our French Sundays, Jon Davies’s illuminating talk places the film in context. Jon is an Associate of the British Film Institute, and teaches French Cinema at, among other places, Morley College, Waterloo.
