Celebrating hounds on the big screen!
As the international film industry enters the awards season once more, The Cinema Museum is hosting a glamorous awards ceremony to recognise our canine friends who have left their mark on the big screen.
The Fidos team will step up to the plate to celebrate the stand out pooch performances of the last 12 months. Hosted by film journalist and screenwriter Toby Rose, who is founder of the Fidos and Cannes’ Palm Dog Awards, the verdict of a top jury of film journalists will be delivering the results of their deliberations.
Jury members for 2013 include Kaleem Aftab from the Independent, Kate Muir from The Times, and film writer Damon Wise.
Nominations for The Fidos 2013:
Behind the Candelabra, How I live Now and The Big Wedding in the Romcom Rover category.
The Bling Ring, The Place beyond the Pines and Pain & Gain in the Mutt Moment category.
The Butler, Rush and The Great Gatsby in the Historical Hound category.
The Heat, Small Apartments and We’re The Millers in the Comedy Canine category.
