One of the most exotic sex symbols of the 1970s, Françoise Pascal will be looking back at her extraordinary and eventful life in conversation with Steve Chibnall.
Perhaps most famous for her role in the politically incorrect TV series Mind Your Language, Mauritius-born Françoise had a successful career as an actress and glamour model. Her breakthrough role was playing Paola in the Boulting Brothers’ There’s a Girl in My Soup (1970) alongside Peter Sellers, and she went on to star in Jean Rollin’s La Rose de Fer (1973), and to work with Mary Millington, Willie Rushton, Diana Dors and Jack Wild in Keep It Up Downstairs.
She will be signing copies of her autobiography As I Am, published in 2012.
Doors open at 18.30 for a 19.30 start. Cafe/bar.
