We would like to help you support local charities, residents and community groups. The Cinema Museum is a strong supporter of Localism and of the concept of Co-operative Councils. We aim to play our part in the encouragement and support of local people and any plans that they have to improve local facilities and create local opportunities. If you are an organisation involved in improving the built or natural environment or the life experiences of local people and you have a screening or event need that drives forward that initiative then we are keen to work with you. So if you are a local charity, T&RA, council project that works with local people or local group looking for a space for a public meeting then we would like to help if we can. The Cinema Museum is a non-political and secular charity, space and group of volunteers – so please expect to find that we may also offer space to those who may not necessarily share all your views.
How it Works
- You contact us to discuss your need and confirm that your group qualifies
- We send you a Subsidised Space Hire Project briefing with an instruction sheet that allows you to tell us what you want
- If you want to proceed you return the enclosed instruction sheet so we know what you want
- If we can help we will then plan how to work together to implement your instructions
- We provide the space and the volunteers for your event, you take responsibility for providing the attendees and your own team
