Our 1929 silent horror tale tomorrow (Thursday 22 September) features hypnotism, clutching hands and a haunted house, complete with a secret panel for concealing corpses and a pit of snakes. This rarely-seen film from director Walter Forde will be accompanied by renowned silent film accompanist John Sweeney.
