David Rose discusses half a century of working in theatre, television and cinema, from being the first producer of Z Cars to founding Channel 4’s Film on Four. Between 1981 and 1990 David commissioned136 films, working with, amongst others, Mike Leigh, Alan Bleasdale, Willy Russell and Stephen Frears.
